Owl Auto Co. Memphis 1919

My great uncle James Lee 3rd son of Captain James Lee Jr. operated the Owl Auto Company. Wrecked and broken down autos pulled in and repaired; day or night, you call we come, day or night. We serve you on the road, at your home, or at our home. First aid to the injured automobile. This letter came from old family financial records preserved and given to me by Buzzy Barnett.

I am so happy you are able to look through the many boxes of Family and River history. I look forward to more history as you shift through it all.
    All the best,
    Buzzy

Thank you Buzzy, they were an interesting tribe of people. I hope to post more in the next few weeks and months. Most interesting was the lawsuit filed by James Lee 3rd against his mother as executrix of his fathers estate. Like many dads James Lee Jr had to soft a heart when his son essentially extracted money from his dad to back stop failed business misadventures.
