Telling the history of the Lee Line Steamboat Line 1862 to 1926 with occasional Memphis history
Hello Jim Lee,
I live in Buffalo City, Arkansas, and I’m writing an entry for the Encyclopedia of Arkansas about the town’s history.
In my research, I uncovered details about a Memphis business man named John H. Quisenberry.
He operated several steamboats from Memphis to Buffalo City up the White River, including The Oakland and Col. Morgan.
I’m searching for more information about Quisenberry and his boats and businesses.
