{"id":2349,"date":"2015-06-04T14:15:15","date_gmt":"2015-06-04T14:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leelinesteamers.com\/?p=2349"},"modified":"2015-06-05T12:24:04","modified_gmt":"2015-06-05T12:24:04","slug":"h-w-buttorff-at-nashville-tn-1913","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leelinesteamers.com\/?p=2349","title":{"rendered":"H W Buttorff at Nashville TN 1913 postcard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The H W BUTTORFF is the steamer in the foreground. \u00a0The BUTTORFF entered the Lee Line fleet January 1911 and was renamed the JOHN LEE. \u00a0Evidently, this picture was taken prior to 1911. \u00a0This postcard is another EBay purchase in the quest to find new pictures of Lee Line steamboats. \u00a0The steamer to the rear of the BUTTORFF was a Ryman Line packet, which was a Nashville based company. \u00a0The Ryman family owned what is now the Grand Ole Opry House. \u00a0Capt. William Tippitt reported Mr. H.W. Buttorff was President of the Ryman Line. \u00a0Additionally, Capt.
